Walking With The Dinosaurs

On Saturday Josh and I went to see Walking With The Dinosaurs....What a great show. The dino's looked so real and they were larger then life. They told a great story about the dinosaurs and how they evolved through time and what happened to them in the end. Josh can tell you all about how a comet crashed down to earth and killed Mommy and baby T-Rex. We had a great time and I love watching Josh's mind expanding with knowledge.

One of Josh's new things is that when he wants to know about something whether it is about dino's or George Washington and Abe Lincoln (Grandma got to discuss that topic) or even what sports are done in the Olympics he will just look at you and say "Tell me all about it" he wants to know everything and will sit and listen to everything you have to tell him on what ever the subject is at the time. I sure hope he will be this way a school :-)

Swim Lessons

Sorry it has been so long. It has been a busy summer and I can't believe that it is almost over and my little guy will be starting TK on Sept 8th.

The summer has mostly been about Swimming. Josh had swim lessions most of the summer and he did quite well, even though he is more comfortable when i'm in the water then a teacher he doesn't know.

What's New

Well it has been a while since anything was posted so I thought I would give an update.
Grandma is all done with radiation Yeah! and is doing good. Mommy had her gallbladder removed and now feels so much better. I came down with a cold that left me not feeling to good for a few days but i'm all better now. I am playing T-Ball and I just love it. I can't wait for swim lessons this summer so that I can swim in the ocean in Acapulco in October. School is just about over for the year and in Sept. I'm excited to be going upstairs to TK. In a couple weeks I will be driving up with Mommy and Grandma to celebrate Hattie's 1st birthday and MamaJane's 88th birthday, it is going to be so much fun.
This weekend is going to be a busy one! Friday Mommy and I (at my request) are going camping with Grandma and Papa then Sat I have T-Ball and Sunday I am going to my friend Christopher's b-day party at the bounce house in Chino Hills. Also Friday is SHARE DAY at school and mommy bought me a new toy that i'm going to take to show all my friends.

Josh and Captain Jack

Thought I would post a couple pictures of Josh and Jack. Jack is our new puppy that we got at the end of January. Jack is 5 months old yesterday and is a little character!
As you can see they love taking naps together.

Kindergarden

Good News -
Josh will be leaving preschool in June and will be starting TK. Basically what that means is Transitional Kindergarden. Josh's teachers feel that he is ready for more consentrated learning and is ready to make the next step before regular Kindergarden at 5 years old. He will be going to school full days, 5 days a week and will have library time, computer class and will also be going on a few field trips throughout the year. Josh is happy with the move since there will be NO BEDS, NO NAPS! Josh does not like to take naps at school, nor at home but grandma makes sure he has a nap before mommy comes home from work (THANK YOU) The only thing he asked me for was a new lunch box, I think I can swing that!
I'm so proud of my boy!

Face Painting

Who loves to have their face painted? Josh!, for all you others that said "me, me" well sorry I don't have pictures of your face paint :-)
Normally we just go to Disneyland and don't really spend that much time at California Adventure but a couple weeks ago we decided to go. Grandma hadn't been since starting radiation therapy and so she came along for this treck. Josh stood patiently in line for 35 mins for this dragon and has asked me about every other day if we can go get another dragon. Thank goodness for annual passes.

Josh's Birthday Party

This year we had Josh's birthday party at Pump It Up. It was so much fun! 2 rooms of inflatable slides and 15 4 year olds running, jumping and being 4. I loved it because they took care of everything which left me to run, jump and play with the kids. Josh had a great time and got lots of great toys.
